I'm eager to know how many people actually pay a lot of money for their websites at first and then try to gain it back from ads or other incomes.

Do you do this type of activity, as an administration member? I think loading up a place with ads, when it first opens is horrible. However, one or two isn't bad at all.

I'm perfectly fine with ads. As long as they don't lag me, are not pop-ups or make ANY sound I'm fine with that. Oh and "suggestive" ads are bad too.

Yes, the domain name and host of my site are taken care of by my awesome members.

That is one of the best aspect I've ever have in building websites. Therefore I will work hard and give my all as much as possible for that. <3

As much as I would like to have money from ads coming in, I don't want ads on my forum. I like it neat and clean, keeping it neat and clean and free of ads forces me pay all the expenses. However its a hobby that I enjoy, so I suppose its worth the money. Domain & hosting renewals only come up once a year so I just pay those bills and move on. I'm used to bills sucking up all my money and being broke anyway. lol
