Some people that I know, hate joining chat rooms. They associate chat rooms with perverts trying to come to your house. Well, I for one do not agree with them on that. But what are your feelings on this matter?

I think they're fine. I've met some pretty interesting people in them, some of which I'm still in contact with. Then again, I've also met some people in chat rooms that I'd rather not have. Chat rooms can go either way for me, I think it depends on the management of it.

I have never had issues with chat rooms. I've met some interesting people, and friends through them. 
I am in contact with most of them through Facebook or MSN messenger at most since the chat room we used to go to closed down.

We have a small shout box turned into a chat room on FH. It's for sponsors, premium and staff only. Barely gets used though.

I don't personally like chat rooms. For me, I normally find idiots and trolls in chat rooms. I much prefer using forums.
