We've all seen the traditional 'Get your ad up here!' banner along the internet, a few hundred times. But how many of you have actually ever paid for advertising on your website or forum? I, really don't see it worth it. It's just a waste in money, to me. But that's just me.

With actual money? I haven't seen the point in it either. I think people are accustomed to completely ignoring adverts now.
I personally have installed an ad blocker.

I also have an ad blocker installed on Chrome.

I have never done that myself, but I know a few people who have done it.

We only have the right of the header at FH on paid advert space.

I just recently added the advertise here on the right side of ForuMansion. But it will only be used to improve ForuMansion and help us out.

I do have a premium adspace slot in the header and footer, and I have made a few bucks from it. I do always put the money right back into the forum though

Not really. In fact, never. Fortunately I never really get pop-up advertisements or such; if I did I'd just close it and forget it. Or for other slots, I'd mostly ignore it too. Bad me, I know, but I just don't really like it. I don't think I would use it for my site anyway, so yeah. ^^;

Thats the point of advertisements paying for the forum i mean i get a whole 1 cent a year from my forum isn't my forum going to be happy xD
