Impressions

From the title itself I was really expecting as something a hotel themed like for a forum. Making it as a general discussion forum or something but my expectation were not met. It was somewhat sort of the opposite way. It turned out the forum hotel was more of like an advertising forum/admin forum, your content is completely way out of the picture for your title. But no I'm not saying that you should change the title though like an impression, expectations should be made and when a person goes to your forum and saw nothing like a hotel it just gave away. Not to be offensive but its true.

Here's comes the good part.

I was really stunned with the amazing work you've done here. When I first entered the site. It was as if magic happened. From contents up to the looks of the forum. It is SIMPLE yet in a professional looking way. It really did made me smile and somewhat excited to view more but for the first part of the review I would have to be patient and just keep on looking. I liked the way your additional stats can be ticked if you know what I mean though I think its unnecessary cause if its for the reason of too much space. Its not, cause your board is waaaaayyyy long so I think it would be better if you remove it or show it as it is though a nice idea indeed. One more thing that really made my impression better was the 'Forum Goal' Section. It really is amazing! Having a bar for how far you've gone to achieve a milestone is a nice idea. I now viewed the forum as a fast growing community.

For the first impression it really went good and I'm saying that Forum Hotel is might be worth the time to look at. Good Job!

Theme
and organization

The theme is simple not really impressed with it though it just made your forum a 'smart ass' forum. It looks really professional though there's something in your theme that I don't really like. Yes its sleek and looks modern. I think that's what you want your forum to look like am i right? Though I think its too much. What I recommend is maybe adding some colors would be nice. The forum is bit bland with all the grays dominating the whole forum. Maybe I cannot say more because it just looks like one of those default skins in forums I've seen and just edited the header and footer for the curves and added icons for some of your categories. The logo is great though like I said not something as unique as I've seen with others.

The forum content is absolutely impressive! The way you organized your ads is a very great thinking. Making your table ads in the middle of the board. Like I once said you put up your forum goals. They are all in place not even a single one giving it away. It looks as if a river flowing smoothly. One thing is maybe you could make a 'motion' of your banners ads at the top of your board. Like it moves upwards as the next banner comes in. Cause it really looks dead-ish not moving or something. Its not really noticeable for an add. Trust me, its one way also to help you help your ad services help your customers get the publicity of their forum.

Activity and Staff Moderation:


As I'm looking through the activity of your staff members, it seems like they're all online everyday. Not having any irregularities with their activity and responsibility as a staff member except for the fact that your package services are online cause there's a back log with the requests and yeah its normal but your package team should work on it. Considering that packages is one of those services that is really needed to help boost up a forum's activity. But that's just it.

Cause the main activity of Forum Hotel is great. Having like 40 users online a day and for the last 24 hours your forum made 23 new topics, 180 new posts and 7 new members. Like, what more can you ask for?! With what you are doing just keep it up, it really helps your activity on the go. Like the idea of having a posting contest is great way to keep up the activity and another one is for your forum to achieve another milestone. A really great job! Two thumbs up.

Going back to your staff. I recommend you to keep an eye with your package team. They will need the help of yours. Don't worry with the activity thing, its all under your control just keep it up!

Spelling,
Grammar, and Miscellaneous:

I'm not lazy seriously cause I'm basically looking at your blog posts, announcements, words that you put in your categories. Your grammar and spelling is in a good shape. It made me think if my grammar is good enough for Forum Hotel's review. Nothing much to say but just use Microsoft Word in checking your grammar while if too lazy to check your spelling you can just simply work with Google Chrome. It has a spell checker feature.

Other things. None. Your forum's in a good shape. One thing you should work on is to think of good ideas to keep your forum in that state or even make it better. That's all. Good luck!

What I liked most about your forum: The way the forum is organized and its content. I like forums that is not a spammy forum. Having an admin/advertising forum has its advantage or maybe good points for me cause I like those kind of forums and forum hotel has it. Keep it up!

What I disliked most about your forum: One thing I don't like is the theme though I know its just a minor don't worry, I understand why you're having that theme. It looks really great. I mean its just for me maybe adding some light and lively colors would do very much. That's all. Just some ticks with this and that. And I know it'll do you good.

Thanks. I'll have a look at that. I laughed at the Spelling/Grammar section as you can't even use correct Grammar with Google Chrome. You say 'google chrome'.
